Antoine Preziuso

A 1974 graduate of the Ecole d'Horlogerie de Genève, as a newly-qualified watchmaker, Antoine Preziuso spent two years in the workshops at Patek Philippe before joining auction house Antiquorum, where he polished his knowledge of antique timepieces and honed his skills as a restorer of watches and complication movements. He became an independent watchmaker in 1981, working for collectors and museums that called on his services to repair antique timepieces. In 1991 Antoine Preziuso presented a bezel-wound perpetual calendar minute repeater, a patented invention. In 2002 he became part of the Harry Winston Opus adventure when he was asked to produce Opus 2. Three years later, he came up with the 3volution, with a rotating structure that carries three synchronised tourbillons.

Antoine Preziuso is now at the head of his own brand. The company, which employs a dozen people, specialises in custom-made timepieces. Antoine Preziuso sees himself first and foremost as an artist who, much like a painter, imagines and makes his watches before revealing them to the public. His endless creativity has given rise to numerous patents, such as for his Next Full Moon complication which displays the number of days remaining until the next full moon. In addition to points of sale in Kiev, Abu Dhabi and Osaka, Antoine Preziuso sells his watches through personal contact with customers who appreciate this approach to exclusive timepieces.
